The Bhutan Trust Fund for Environmental Conservation (BTFEC) announces the sale of its old assets (furniture and equipment) through sealed bids on “AS IS WHERE IS BASIS.” Interested bidders can visit the Secretariat to inspect the items, which has been categorized into Lots.
The Bhutan Trust Fund for Environmental Conservation signs 10 grant agreements with Gross National Happiness Commission, Communities and Civil Society Organizations for Nu. 78.013 million. The ten projects will support in the areas of eco-friendly tourism through development of infrastructure; White-Bellied Heron recovery plan; Rehabilitation of Luetshokha Tsho; Exploration of the unique biodiversity of Bhutan; Up-scaling sustainable land management to combat land degradation and climate change; Improve rural livelihood from Non-wood forest products; Strive to establish litter free society and advocating behavioral change –managing our own waste; Introduction of glue laminated timber technology and experimental application of glulam structures in Bhutan and improvement and authentication of smart wild animal repellent device.
