Governance and Audit Committee (GAC)

In order to promote and maintain high standards of conduct of the organization and its projects, BTFEC has formed the Governance and Audit Committee led by a member of the Management Board, the Internal Auditor, and an independent external member. The GAC provides support and guidance to the Management Board and oversee the governance and standards of the BTFEC and scrutinise the audit arrangements for the organization. Further, it is responsible to monitor and review protocols for standards of Board Members and Committees, including its own performance. It is responsible for reviewing and advising the Board on (i) financial reporting (ii) internal control and risk management (iii) compliance, whistleblowing and fraud (iv) internal and external audit.
