Celebrating National Environment Day
Today to commemorate the 31st Birth Anniversary of Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen, the BTFEC and Snowman Race secretariat would like to PLEDGE to nurture as many trees as possible and establishes a community club called the ‘Tree Nurturing Club’ with the theme “You Plant, We Nurture with love”. The club members will nurture tree saplings which needs care after plantation in the country.

This initiative will compliment in achieving the noble goal of our Majesties in keeping Bhutan’s position as a leading voice on forest conservation and climate action.
During the opening event, the BTFEC family and Snowman secretariat along with club members nurtured more than 100 saplings in Happiness Garden at Kuensel Phodrang, Thimphu that has been neglected and needed attention and care.
