Observing Social Forestry Day

June 2nd is the coronation day of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo Jigme Singye Wangchuk. We the BTFEC joins the nation in celebrating His Majesty’s enthronement by planting trees.

BTFEC in collaboration with 4 other environmental organizations namely; WWF Bhutan, BFL, RSPN and BES observed Social Forestry day by planting about 250 saplings around the Ancient Takin Trail, Motithang. The trail development was funded by the BTFEC .

On this auspicious occasion we rededicate our humbly prays for our Beloved Drukgyal Zhipa for his good health and long life.
