On 24th July 2025, the Bhutan Trust Fund for Environmental Conservation (BTF) and the Bhutan Ecological Society (BES) met with a visiting mission from Conservation International (CI) to discuss ways to restore degraded state lands in Bhutan.
After visiting plantation sites around Thimphu, the CI team acknowledged the progress made so far and reaffirmed their commitment to support Bhutan’s restoration efforts with continued financial and technical assistance.
Together, we’re working to restore ecosystems and build a greener, more resilient Bhutan.
