On 29 July 2025, coinciding with Global Tiger Day, the Bhutan Trust Fund for Environmental Conservation (BTF) signed funding agreements for nine impactful projects worth Nu. 126.496 million.
These projects focus on BTF’s four thematic areas:
1. Preserve biodiversity
2. Enable human-wildlife coexistence
3. Mitigate and adapt to Climate Change
Address the adverse impacts of development on the environment
Over the next 36 months, these initiatives will create tangible conservation outcomes, strengthening Bhutan’s commitment to nature and our vision of staying carbon neutral.
